Computer Software Solutions

Gary W. West and William R. McClendon formed Computer Software Solutions in 1985. CSS was started with a mission to provide inexpensive software for the IBM^® midrange marketplace. In 1987, WRM purchased all rights from GWW and later incorporated in the state of Oklahoma as Computer Software Solutions, Inc.

Mark D. McClendon joined CSS in 1989 and worked in a management role until 2000, when he purchased controlling ownership of the company from WRM. CSS is now a privately held partnership owned by WRM and MDM.

CSS joined the IBM Business Partner^® Program in 1988 as an Application Specialist. In 1991, CSS became the IBM Authorized Agent^® for the wholesale distribution industry for northeastern Oklahoma. Today, CSS remains an IBM Business Partner specializing in IBM hardware and software.

CSS has been providing quality software and hardware products for the iSeries^® and AS400^® marketplace for over twenty years. CSS currently maintains and markets its custom designed applications written exclusively for the iSeries and AS400 platform.
